The National Trust was set up to answer the worries of the parents who ask what will happen to my child when I am no more. It is an autonomous body set up under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to envision and enable services for people with significant life support needs such as Autism, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities and Cerebral Palsy.  The National Trust carries out various schemes of capacity building, training and care & shelter through its registered organisations.
