Young man gives his money to his mother.

Beam is a young man in northern Thailand who is blind with additional disabilities.  This article from Perkins International tells the success story of how he has been able to overcome many challenges.  Following four months of managing the Northern School for the Blind [3]'s mobile shop, selling snacks and school supplies, Beam was introduced to Thai massage.  He now earns an income at a local shop and earns enough to pay his room and board, as well as to send money home to his mother.
